Authentic Chinese Dining in Sanur

Hi I had lunch here food was outstanding ordered a few dishes everything perfect fresh and tasty.highly recommended

Dropped in here after a long beach day and it was exactly what I needed. Super chilled vibes and the AC is freezing (in a good way!). Had the Chicken and Cashew Nuts with some Garlic Bok Choy. Everything tasted so fresh and came out fast. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving proper Chinese food in Sanur.

I wasn't sure what to expect as a vegetarian, but the braised eggplant in claypot was incredible so savory and meaty in texture. We also loved the salt and pepper tofu and the szechuan green beans. Even without meat, the dishes are packed with flavor. A solid choice for groups with mixed diets.

We had the Hot Pot for two last night and it was excellent. The setup is very professional and the ingredients are super fresh. The Handmade Prawn Paste and the Sliced Pork Belly cooked perfectly in the Tom Yum Soup. It’s a bit of an investment compared to a quick stir-fry, but the quality of the meat and the depth of the broth make it totally worth it.

Best Peking Duck in Sanur! We ordered the half duck and it was served with plenty of pancakes, cucumber, and leeks. The skin was perfectly rendered and crispy. We also had the leftover duck meat stir-fried with ginger and spring onions—it was delicious. Great service and a very nice wine list too.

The black pepper beef here is so tender you barely need a knife. We also tried the san choy bao ( pork lettuce wraps ) as a starter which were light and refreshing. The atmosphere is upscale but still feel relaxed. It's our favorite "treat yourself" spot in Sanur.

Sometimes you just want the classics done right. Their Sweet and Sour Pork is the best I’ve had in a long time—no soggy batter here! We also had the Yang Chow Fried Rice which was loaded with shrimp and BBQ pork. It’s consistent, high-quality Chinese food that never fails to satisfy.

Everything was fresh and cooked to order. We started with the Fried Wonton Dumplings which were perfectly crispy, but the Honey Glazed Pork Ribs were the real star of the show. The meat literally fell off the bone and the sauce was incredible. If you like rich, sticky BBQ flavors, you have to order those ribs! The staff was very attentive and kept our tea topped up the whole night.

You can't visit Golden Monkey without trying the BBQ Combination Platter. The Siu Yuk (Crispy Pork Belly) has the loudest crunch I’ve ever heard, and the Char Siew is sweet and tender. Paired it with some Hokkien Noodles and it was the perfect meal. Truly authentic Cantonese flavors right here in Bali.

If you love spice, you have to get the Mala Soup here! It has that perfect Szechuan numbing sensation. We loaded our pot with Lotus Root, Chinese Cabbage, and the Wagyu Beef slices. The dipping station is great too—you can mix your own sauces. A great spot for a rainy evening in Sanur when you want something warm and spicy.

Finally tried the Hot Pot at Golden Monkey and it’s a game changer for Sanur. We went with the Signature Collagen Soup and the Spicy Mala broth. The collagen broth was so rich and creamy! We ordered the Premium Sliced Beef and a variety of fresh mushrooms. It’s a very interactive and fun way to eat with friends. Highly recommend if you want something hearty.

I was really impressed by the quality of the Crystal Prawn Dumplings. The prawns are large and snappy, and the translucent skin has the perfect chewy consistency. It’s clear that these are handmade daily rather than being frozen.

Make sure you leave room for the Custard Lava Buns at the end of your meal. When you pull them apart, the warm, salted egg yolk filling flows out just like it should. They are the perfect mix of sweet and salty to finish the night

The Crispy Seafood Noodles offer a wonderful play on textures with the crunchy noodles softening as they soak up the gravy. There is a great variety of fresh seafood like prawns inside. It’s a large portion that is perfect for sharing between two people

We finished our dinner with creme caramel, which was incredibly refreshing in the sanur heat. The caramel flavor is intense, it's a light, but rich dessert, exactly what we need it!

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Claypot Eggplant with Minced Pork. The eggplant is braised until it’s buttery soft and completely infused with the savory garlic sauce. It is a rich, umami-heavy dish that goes incredibly well with plain white rice

If you’re looking for a spicy kick, the Szechuan Kung Pao Chicken is the way to go. The dried chilies and crunchy peanuts provide a fantastic texture and a slow-building heat. It is a classic dish executed with a lot of skill and fresh ingredients

The Xiao Long Bao, are a must-order and arrived at our table piping hot. The broth inside is rich and savory, encased in a delicate wrapper that doesn't break too easily. Be sure to use the ginger and black vinegar dip provided to enhance the flavor.

The Black Pepper Beef is a standout dish if you enjoy bold, punchy flavors and high-quality meat. The beef is sliced thin and remains incredibly succulent despite the high-heat wok sear. It pairs perfectly with a side of steamed bok choy to balance the spice.

I highly recommended the BBQ pork char siew for anyone who loves a balance of sweet and savory.The meat is tender and has that authentic honey glaze that caramelizes beautifully on the edges.It’s easily some of the best cantonese-style barbecue i’ve had in Bali.

Their Yangzhou Fried Rice is the ultimate comfort food and acts as a perfect base for the saucier main dishes. The "wok hei" aroma is very present, giving the rice that signature smoky flavor from the high-flame stir-fry. It’s a simple dish, but the execution here is flawless.

The Siu Mai pork dumplings are hearty, meaty, and topped with a lovely touch of roe. They have a great bite to them and aren't overly oily like you find in some other spots. These are a staple for any lunch visit to Golden Monkey.

The pecking duck here is absolutely world class with its perfectly rendered, crispy skin.. I love that they serve it traditionally with thin pancake, hoisin sauce, and fresh scallion.. It is a premium experience that makes a dinner in Sanur feel truly special

The Salt and Pepper Squid is the perfect appetizer to start your meal alongside a cold beer. The batter is seasoned beautifully and the fresh chili rings add a nice pop of color and heat. It’s addictive, crispy, and cooked just right so the squid isn't rubbery.

Such a good Chinese restaurant in sanur, the food is very good,all the staff is very friendly.

Everything was incredibly delicious and fresh. I honestly thought I ordered way too much for two people — but it was so good that I finished it all!. Definitely recommend.

I've eaten here several times, and the Peking duck is always a favorite. The place is comfortable and the staff are friendly.

This place is very very impressive. I happened to go there on my birthday with my friend looking for a proper chinese food. We ordered Hargao, veg dumpling, beans with chicken and rice noodles with chicken. Every dish was tasty very well cooked and great portion size. We polished off the food....and when the staff esp Tutde our waitress, came to know that it was my birthday, immediately arranged a small sweet topped with freshed fruits and candle and sang "happy birthday" for me! Very sweet and attentive staff. We thanked everyone including the chef for making my birthday special. The restaurant has great ambiance, decor and even cutlery like a fine dining restaurant. Wij hebben hier gisteren heerlijk gegeten, allemaal kleine gerechtjes. En wat een vriendelijk personeel liep er rond. De airco viel uit waardoor we bij Blossom steakhouse op het terras mochten zitten, wat van dezelfde eigenaar is. Iedere klant word hier op handen en voeten gedragen. Hier zouden ze in Nederland nog wat van kunnen leren. Hartelijk dank voor u gastvrijheid.

Had a yummy dinner! Loved the corn soup, duck spring rolls were amazing! Long xiao buns with soft pork- delicious, mapo bean tofu mince- so tasty . The crème caramels were smooth and the perfect dessert. Excellent service. Great air con. Great value. We will be back soon.

Food was delectable. Xiao loong bao was steaming hot and skin wasn't too thick. Egg fried rice was best we had! The service is very good and food also excellent 👌👌
